COVID-19 Member Assistance Relief Programs

At Directions, we recognize that these are challenging times filled with uncertainty. If you have hardship you may be eligible for one of these options.

 

Skip A Pay

Beginning March 18, 2020, request a Skip a Pay and we will waive the $50 fee (Skip a Pays are available for Directions auto loans or personal loans). This fee waiver is valid through the end of June 2020, and we will continue to evaluate this date for possible extensions. Members are allowed 2 Skip a Pays during a rolling 12 month period

Requests can be made in online banking or call the contact center at 888-508-2228. To apply online, log in to online banking, go to the Services tab and select Skip a Pay. Don’t have online banking? Click on the link below to get started.

Emergency Relief Loan

Directions Emergency Relief Loan is available to help those members who need temporary financial resources to sustain them through the COVID-19 recovery period.

No payments for up to 90 days on Existing Consumer Loans

Members experiencing financial hardship can apply for a loan extension, giving them No Payments for up to 90 days on existing Consumer Loans. This includes auto, boat, RV, Motorcycle, and personal loans.

No payment for 90 days on New Consumer Loans

Beginning March 18, 2020, members can delay their first payment for 90 days on new DCU Consumer Loans. This includes auto, boat, RV, Motorcycle, and personal loans. This offer is valid through June 30, 2020 , and we will continue to evaluate this date for possible extensions.

Waived Fees

To help you make loan payments remotely, we are waiving the following fees: 

Payment by Phone - Make payments over the phone, and beginning  March 18, 2020, we will waive the $7.50 fee. This fee waiver is valid through the end of June 2020 and is available for multiple loans.  Wwill continue to evaluate this date for possible extensions.
